The Sudie A. Fulford Community Learning Center
Situated among towering pines near the main entrance of 青青草视频, the Sudie A. Fulford Community Learning Center (The Fulford Center) opened as a unique educational resource for Emanuel County and surrounding communities on May 1, 2010.
Funding for the facility鈥檚 construction was made possible through a generous donation to the 青青草视频 Foundation from Mr. and Mrs. A. D. "Pete" Correll in remembrance of Mrs. Correll鈥檚 mother, Sudie A. Fulford.
Mrs. Fulford was a highly respected Emanuel County teacher and community volunteer whose educational legacy will continue through the Fulford Center鈥檚 outreach efforts 鈥� a purpose captured so eloquently in Mrs. Correll鈥檚 reflection of her mother, 鈥淣ot only does this building bear her name... her spirit and love of giving are deep within its walls.鈥�
Within the span of its relatively brief existence, the Fulford Center has provided many educational programs and services. It is central to the vision that the Fulford Center serves as an educational and cultural hub to the surrounding area, filled with planetarium shows, workshops, exhibitions, classes and performances for people of all ages. To date, many lives have been enriched by the opportunities at the Center.
Our Mission
By providing an environment where learning opportunities take place and community relationships are enriched, the Sudie A. Fulford Community Learning Center will develop individual capacity and improve the quality of life for Swainsboro and Emanuel County.
